which of the major players would you prefer out of the 600cc class bikes? I currently like the yamaha yzf600r.... but would love to here everyones opinion. or

 

my favorite 600 would have the be the F4i, its fuel injected and very comfortable

 

I'm partial to the R6 myself, despite being something of a Honda geek. The F4i is nice though (and someone makes a turbo kit for it, too!).

 

the F4i is a good all around bike....but the seat is too dang hard!

 

Yamaha Seca II

 

YZF600r6. I would like the GSXR but my Girlfriend highsided one and broke her collarbone so I hold a grudge.

They're all so good there's no real point in comparing them (far beyond our mere mortal skillz), just buy the one that you like best!

excellent street bike

 

R6 is my favorite...thats why i bought it over the rest

 

i think most will buy the bikes cuz he likes the looks of one over the others...
some riding characteristics about the bikes are different as well..
personally..i think the 600 class bikes are all almost the same..performance wise..

 

I'll wait till next year to make that decision..when the R6 gets injected and hopefully a stock steering dampener. too much headshake and don't want to trade in the 99 I've got till everything is confirmed. If no dampener, I'll spring for the Scotts dampener. I love the R6...but really like the Gixxer. Only way to really figure it out is to wait and ride both!!!


Gotta give props to the R6 though... No injection...No dampener... and still hanging with the Gixxer...so far.

I prefer the Gixxer, but like mentioned above, I want to ride the 03' R6

 

i gotta say the R6. ive ridden the R6, GSX-R 600 and the F4i. i guess its because of my small frame but i think the R6 is the easiest and funnest to ride.

 

R6 for looks at least.

I want to see what kawasaki has up their sleeve for this fall and then I will make my decision but otherwise it goes : 1. 02gsxr 2. 03 R6 3. 03 zx6r
the r6 is supposed to be up 10hp and down atleast 17 but upto 38lbs. it will fly and have dealer mark-up through the roof!

 

in your avatar... you mean the extra $300 they charge for some extra stickers!!! it's still a Gixxer 600. Just a more expensive one.

I was just guessing on the $300... but you know it's outrageous. Just like Yamaha did with the Vance&Hines.. and Honda did with the SJR F3.

They look somewhat cooler but not for the price.

Yeah yeah, it's still one of the better looking replicas that any manufacturer has tried to make. $300 isn't all that bad when you really think about it, plus you could bargain and maybe get close to the same deal
