p72 running a b20b non vtec

p72 running a b20b non vtec
I got a gsr which i recovered back. and im planning to drop in a b20b and im wondering if the p72 will still work. later down the road i will swap a vtec head on. Does any one know if this set-up will work or not? my car is obd2 if that helps
