Gsr topend feels weeeeak
Ok I was running a jdm p30 ecu on my 95 eg coupe with a gsr the vtec xover was 5700 and topend felt good switched to a p72 ecu becuz I STILL HAVE MY SECONDARYS when I put the p72 on the xover changed to 5200 and my topend doesn't feel the same should I just get a vtec controler and up the xover,, some opions and 2cents plzzzz motor is stock just has intake header and exhaust

uhhh...so you put the stock p72 back in right? leave it in because its the correct ecu. p72 vtec is at 4400 and the secondaries are at 5700.
the reason it felt powerful up top with the p30 is because you had lost power in the midrange right before vtec came in making you feel faster once it did. i dont know why you were switching ecus to begin with just i/h/e.

well when i did swap p72 are normally dime a dozen and for some reason i couldnt find any i got a good deal on a jdm p30 traded for ls ecu and 40$ lol

Yeah I would run the stock P72 with that engine. Your not loosing tq down low now like b4 with the other ecu so the top end might not feel as strong butin all reality its just alot smoother now. Im sure you already know about how you will lose power down low with a dual-stage IM and a ECU not set-up/tuned for that IM.
Moving your vtec xover up is not going to make your car any faster, it will just make a bigger diff when vtec kicks in since it was dragging *** b4 with the low cams running high rpm.

just go back to the p30, if you already have your knock sensor wired. then whats the problem with it?
thats the only reason ppl use p28 is cause they're lazy. and p28's are a little less rare
