How to restore woodgrain steering wheel
Hey guys i just bought a used woodgrain steering wheel that came off a rhd clip form japan, however the woodgrain is kinda dull and has lil nicks and cracks in it. Does anybody know how to restore woodgrain finishes? Any links of how to fix them? Thanks in advance

I would go to home depot and get woodfiller, color matched to the steering wheel. If the nicks and scratches are not too wide it will look fine, and the grain will still mostly match. If the scratches wide, it will probably be noticeable that you used filler since the grain will be off. I would sand the remaining laquer off first, then use the filler.
After you fill the scratches let it dry for a day or so, then sand it down smooth, then relaquer it, should look pretty good.

thanks for the info, so i went to home depot and ask them they told me what i needed and the process of restoring the steering wheel, came out great.
