Default ITR shift boot in a 96-00 civic?

I searched and couldn't seem to come up with a definite answer. Will an ITR shift boot fit in a 96-00 civic? I heard that you have to swap brackets. So an ITR shift boot will work if you use the stock 96-00 bracket? Does it look/bolt on oem?

TIA

Yeah...this is the same thing I was getting from searching. Some people say no, some people say yes. I'm just gonna go with yes and if it doesn't fit, I'll sell it.
