Default integra conversion = not what u think

Ok so here is the deal guys, i have a 94 rs shell for sale 5 speed. Now a guy called me and asked me bout tha car and said he was interested, so i was like kool come check it out. So he came and rolled up in another integra that came from the east coast and basically the car got owned by rust. Now the guy just wants to switch everything over to the shell i have. So here is the problem, his car is automatic, he wants to pay me to swap everything over from his car to my shell. So he wants me to convert the 5 speed to automatic. so i have all the parts, im just not sure what i should do. I can swap everything over but does anyone know all that needs to be done? The thing that concerns me the most is the wiring. Does anyone have any info on this? help is appreciated.

Please save your criticism .....its not my car the guy just said he likes his automatic integra. thanks

Why wouldn't he want manual? This might be a first in the manual to automatic conversion division.

Just swap the whole engine, tranny, wiring harness, ECU, etc. It'll work just fine.

Yeah i was thinking of swaping out the whole harness on the car but thats a bit of work. looks like the price is gonna have to be boosted.

I did the opposite conversion w/ my b18c1 to ls swap.

Couple of things you'll run into:
-Tranny mount (part that is welded to frame) is different btwn auto & 5spd.
Hasport makes a auto to manual mount, but dont know if any1 makes the opposite.

-Will have to cut and drill to get the auto shifter mounted to the chassis.

-Auto and 5spd have different throttle linkage on the pedal. If u use auto gas pedal, use auto throttle cable.

-Autos (at least obd1) have an ECU and a TCM (separate unit behind drivers kick)

-Will probably have to do custom wiring for the TCM, backup lights, key interlock? unless u use auto chassis wiring harness.

Alot of wrenching, but I would probably be a cool project if u decide to do it.

well one thing RS = no sunroof, no abs, no power locks. so if you were to swap it, the abs would probably be pretty complicated.

oops yea forgot about the tranny mount.

Dude would be better off learning to drive a manual, and then swapping his engine into your shell but using a manual tranny, harness, and ECU.
