B16 troubles - code 6 - constant
hey everyone,
i have a 90 civic with a b16a in it, did a bunch of work to it over the winter and everything has been great until a week ago.
the ecu started to throw code 6 which is engine coolant temperature sensor, well i did the diag on it and the readings were WAY off and it was getting 14 volts with the car running (which im not sure if thats right) anyways i replaced the sensor and reset the ecu. then took it for a drive and the code came up again!!!!
what do you guys this i should do ??? or any ideas if its something stupid that im looking over?
another point is the car temp gauge and fan are working perfectly fine but when VTEC tries to engage thats when the code 6 is thrown and no more vtec
thanks in advance

Is that a USDM ECU or JDM? It might because of the ECU, I know my friend had to switch his out because it was throwing a code out but all the sensors were good
