Other then it being kinda retarded, and you would have to find a new way to secure the fenders when the hood is closed.

Best bet would be to weld together the fenders with the hood,
and smooth it out with w/e bodyfiller you like.

But if all you did was that, and left the fenders unbolted, they'd be kinda floppy.

why would you wanna do that? You would have to support the fenders or else they will flop around at high speed, then you would have to unbolt them everytime you pop the hood. Unless you plan on making it a complete show car and tow it everywhere. I would just buy the one piece front end.

Well just get a fiberglass front end and cut out some wholes for the lights :-D. Then when you wanna pop your hood just take everything off.

Ok i started working im trying to serce the fenders by light weight reinforcement i used 2x door joints to keep a strong hold, and when the hood pops to be able to fold up under the hood with help of a placed hood latch. now im going to use Flexo Bonda Putty with a mix of hose hold joint compond and plumbers foam to take the space up. also i used a pants style butten to hold the fenders to the front bmper/side skirt. once everything is dry ill remove the buttens and test drive ill be posting pic's as well

you could rig up some way to mount flip latches like the ones that hold tool boxes closed inside the fender wells to hold the fenders in while driving.

So is the hood going to lift like normal with the fenders attached or is it going to open reverse like a corvette.
Interesting idea.

oky guys projects almost done figre ill be done tomorrow night. look forward to your comments on the pics

so far the hood opens and shts fine with not problems and the fenders line p and the door latches hold the fenders far better then i thought.

so far total expense for this is follows
12$ for 2 drill bits (broke both)
3$ for 4 door hinges
4.99$ for plumbers fome

the hood lifts normally like regular acura hoods
the latches hold good under the hood aswell
i sealed the latches with screws and a bit of the god send called JB weild

I'd like to see some pics of what you came up with when you get a chance to see how it ended up.

I love anything that helps make each one of our cars stand out from one another. Does anyone have pics of an all fiberglass front with the same idea?
