Default 1992 honda prelude H2.3 SI -Automatic

Im trying to figure out why the D4 light always blinks reguardless of what gear I am in seems to be a solid green apon start but then within 5 min's the light starts to blink even if im in reverse d1,d2,d3 the d4 light remains blinking

Any idea's?

Read your owner's manual. There's a problem with your transaxle. The blinking D4 is trying to tell you to stop killing it.

it's a transmission error code just like the CEL, jump the connector and check it the same way to get the code.
check your atf level. are there any other symptoms?

no none the trannie does not slip and shifts fine. no high balling. shifts at 7 if i get on it and shifts at 3/4 on case driveing

Listen to the man. The car's trying to tell you what's wrong with it. Read the code and address the problem.

Get a manual and look up what the code is then you'll have the instructions on how to fix it too. Bumping this again and again is not going to get you a better answer.
