Default People with H&R sport springs

I was gonna pick up a set of H&R sport springs for the type R, just wondering if you get any negative camber wear on your tires? just wondering if i have to pick up front and rear camber kits. and if any body has picture of type r with them I would appreciate it if you post them, I wanna check the stance out.

Thanks

Nick

See my "build" thread. All of the pictures of my Type-R in this thread are my car on H&R Sports.

And yes, get a camber kit. I wore out many sets of tires because of my bad camber/toe.

How did you like the sports compared to stock?

I had to. Skunk2 in the front, washers in the rear. Pulled in to as close to stock specs as possible.

Edit: I got the h&R race coilovers

Just because you wear out the innards of the tire more then the outside due due negative camber doesn't mean it's bad negative camber.

To the OP, if the car sits lower then stock with the new springs the car will have more negative camber then stock, resulting in more camber wear then when the car was stock. It's common sense...

For what it's worth, I have H&R Sports on my Integra and it only went to 1.6* of negative camber with them installed. I auto-x and track the car and honestly I wish I had more! I have never noticed any unusual tire wear at all. Just make sure you rotate them as often as you are supposed to and you'll be fine. Unless you are the kind of guy that puts 20k miles on your car in a year and never rotate your tires.

Spec for our cars is within .5 and -1.5, so that puts you just outside of spec. I'm at roughly the same with my Tein S-techs and I'm not getting an excessive wear that I can notice yet.
