Default Suspension Questions

I am planning to change my suspensions for my 92 civic. I like stiff and firm driving. What shocks do you prefer?

KYB / Tokico / Koni / Bilstein / MONROE / SKUNK2

and I have no idea how to choose springs?

Default Re: Suspension Questions (a_wishbone)

I have KYB AGX and I do like them, they were a good price but for my driving needs i shouldnt have mated them with the Skunk2 coilover sleeves.

KYB AGX
Tokico Illuminas
Koni Yellows

^^^ All good struts. Im sure you will be happy with either of the 3. Find out which one best suits your $$$$$ amount.

For springs you can get Ground Control (GC) coilovers, H&R sport springs (I believe its the sports) or even some Eibach sports.

All depends on your budget. I would try the Performance Marketplace. They have some nice deals going on.

I have Tokico Illumina adjustables on Eibach Sportlines...nice subtle drop and the ride is actually decent (as long as you have the shocks set to a softer setting).
