The question i have is that the rpm's dont start workin til iam gettin on it and then the tach goes crazy and is way off....a guy from a import shop told me i need to run a wire from the tach to the blue wire on the dizzy....but i dont know what wire to go from on the tach or plug and nor does the guy from the shop.....does anyone have any idea's??

was your cluster always like that when you first installed it?

bad ignitor in the distributor

 

but if i had a bad ignitor then wouldnt the car run for **** then??? or not even run

 

it will still run.. decent..
get a friend with a b or d series motor and swap your dizzy and test it to see if it clears up if so get a new dizzy- ignitor

 

why go thru all that when you can just put your old cluster back in and see if it still does that, if it doesnt then your cluster is bad.
