help a accord newbie out
alright my bros friend is selling a 91 cb7 to him for $300 it has 176,xxx miles on it. from what he told me the driver door will not open from the inside but will from the outside. i wanted to know before he gets it what are some common rust spots on the exterior? what should i look for? and is it a good deal?

first make sure that the linkage is not disconnected from the inner handle to the door latch ......if ok,,, you got the dreaded door latch issue .. go to these links and read up on it ..

usually cars that have rust issues are frm northern areas of the US, dealing with salted roads from the snow, but if i remember correctly i think they no longer salt roads do this destroying cars, they now use a sand mixture, if im correct. dont forget though it is a 91 so who knows what history this car may have ...either way it wont hurt to just take a look under the car for urself. and for 300 bucks, hell id say go for it.. its a honda ! ! you cant go wrong !!

No I know but I'm saying to fix it if it has rust were are the usual spots to look for rust? I know not to over expect for 300 dollars and I'm not.
