Random misfire cylinder #1
Whats up guys, its been awile since ive posted.
Yesterday i drove through a huge puddle going to work (oops). It drove fine to work, but when i was leaving my car started idling funny and it threw code 71 (random misfire cyl 1). I pulled the #1 plug wire and saw some moisture on it so i figured a new set of wires and plugs would do the trick. I replaced them and the car wont even start anymore. I pulled the dizzy cap and didnt see any moisture but noticed the rotor looked crooked. The F*&^king screw was missing! So now im waiting on the rotor to come in so i can replace it but i have a feeling that its not what it is. I have noticed that i have had a lot of valvetrain noise lately but I'm clueless..
anyone got any suggestions? I'm at work now but i figure i can pull a plug wire to test for spark.. i hope its not the ignitor or coil or something...
