Default distributor

ok i want to replace my distributor in a 2.2 94 accord non v tech non dohc but the problem i have is the one i got from ebay has a 4 wire plug and the one that came off the car has 8 wires!! the replacement came off a 97 and mine is an 94 will this work? i really dont wanna cut wires here im stumped can anyone show me the way??

lol J/k the problem you have my friend is that your car is an OBD 1 and distributor you have is an OBD2 if it's even the right one that you think the dood you bought it from is telling you...you best bet for future referances is to go to a scrap yard....take a look at more than one diizzy making sure it looks EXACTLY the same as the one you have, Pray the ntake the one that looks the least beat up and you should be fine....also replace the cap and rotor to be gravy..I got mine for 40 bucks and it had a brand cap and rotor so I got lucky..good luck mang
