Default ECU ground ??

Well i was reading up on some electrical stuff and i notivced that many car ground their ecu by making contact with the metal frame of the car. Does honda do that this way also because i was planning on leaving the cu on the carpet just to get it tuned.

The ECU has it's own internal ground from the wiring harness. There is no way the logic board relies on an external ground like the mounting bolts.
