Quick axle question
I'm swapping engines between my Hondas because I wrecked one.. Well in the process I couldn't get the passenger axle out of the spindle on the passenger side of the engine doner car. Now, I have several D series axles laying around but when I put it in the B series transmission its really loose and makes really nasty sounds when I let the clutch out.
Do the D series axles and the B series alxe have different splines or and I just F-ing crazy?!
Also, I've been working on getting this done untill now (3:30) so my stary may not make any sence. Thanks.

Let's clarify. If I read correctly, you installed D-series axles in a B-series transmission.
Is this correct? If so, the D-series axles will NOT work for you. D-series axles are smaller in diameter, hence the loose axles and loud crunching noise. You better hope that only the axles splines got fucked up and not your tranny. Do not rev anymore with those axles in there.
As for your motor, what engine is it? B16? B18? Gsr, Si?
And the axle that you couldn't get out, is that axle still stuck?

Yeah thanks for reading through that mess, I was exhausted and really didn't want to clarify, but you guessed correctly
Naw I don't think I messed up any splines in the tranny or on the axle, it barely made any noise and I shut the car down quickly, then I looked in the transmission and saw perfect looking splines. I thought it may have been my turbo making noise for some reason haha. Thanks again, I really didn't want that to be a problem with my transmission
Oh and just so this thread doesn't suck here is a pic of my wrecked baby that the engine came out of

This is the damn axle that wont come out!! Notice the top is all messed up becuase I was beating it for so long...

And this is the beater *** car with **** tons of hail damage and nasty paint, can you say sleeper?!

The engine
I bet no one will think this crappy looking hatch has 280 whp haha!
