Hey guys, I have a 95 ls and i just had a gsr trans with stock lsd, exedy stage clutch and act streetlite flywheel put in. Everything shifts smoothly except its very hard to get out of reverse gear. My cars at the shop and i found that playing/wigglying the shifter its able to come out most of the time. My mechanic put my car on a lift and was able to shift in all gears by pulling/turning the shift linkage underneath. But, when in side the car its hard to get out of reverse. My tranny did sit in a garage for over a year but the mechanic tore it down and cleaned it up before installation. Any ideas?

sounds like a problem with the linkage, is it tight to botht eshifter and tranny, also did you replace the bushings on the shifter?

 

no i did not replace the bushings, ill ask my mech if the linkage seems tight.
