Default gsr in 91 ef

what's wrong with my gsr. I run 14.9 on the 1/4 mile. my engine is in great shape 200 pounds of compression. other guys with same setup run 13.8 at the same track. can a integra ys1 cable tranny affect my performance on 1/4 mile. all poeple said that this transmission is ****.

Yes.

I assume that your YS1 is from an LS, which will not accelerate as fast as a B16 trans.

It's also possible you're just not a good driver, no offense.

I doubt I'd run the best times my car is capable of once I get it finished.

Also, traction?

Post up your whole slip what's your elev?

If it's a ls geared tranny you will be losing time, one full second probbly not but possible if you have a crap launch you won't make up any time with those gears.

but another factor i think is affect my 1/4 mile is my exhaust. i have 2.5 inch exhaust with no cat . i think that is too big for this engine. lost torque. i also put skunk2 intake and keep the p72ecu so i think i lost power in the midrange too.

work on your reaction. I got it down to .1 and lower.

My bro runs a stock bmw 325ci with those 60' time and runs a consistant 15.2-15.3 so therese something keeping you back. and it most likely is the tranny

Once I tossed in some CTRs it was great but on stock cams it's not a good mod at all.

Your exhaust is fine.
