Strange Problem With Tach/Tranny? Dropping to low RPMS on Downshift - AT
I am not sure whats up, but I just replaced my iginition switch (the electrical part) and I have never noticed this before but..
When I am accel. it goes smoothly, but if I let of the gas to slow down, my tach drops when it down shifts to about 1k rpms, hen bounces immedietly back up to about 1500-2000rpms where it should be at if I am not touching the gas..
WTF is wrong? I cannot figure it out, it only does it when the AT is down shifting..
I also noticed when I am accelerating, the tach does not move smoothly, it goes in flurries, like it will movie normal, and then slow down, then move normal, as I am speeding up, its odd.
