Default Air in the system...HELP

*Unnessecary* Story (skip if u want) I was driving to my class, everything perfect, no problems besides a loud wheel bearing in almost a year with my DA... I smelt a little coolant (know from a leak on a radiator i had for a while, know the smell 100%) i glanced at the gauge, normal and nice and cool. I was already late to class, so i parked and went to class... Came back after 3 hours, puddle of coolant, maybe half a bottle of coolant? idk quite a bit, around the passenger tire and underneath the left side of the engine (passenger side). I started it up, made sure everything was fine, was still perfectly cold as usual start up (90ish degrees outside) (brand new radiator *1month*) got out checked for leaks, saw nothing, drove away... Got stuck in 15minutes of parking lot hell, then made it onto the 45mph road that i take all the way home (15min drive). I made it about 5min down that road (15-20min total so far) car starts to get to the middle of the temp gauge, i kept the car in 5th and drove slow, then all the sudden it launched up to about 3/4 hot, so i turned off the car, but kept it on 2nd click to keep the fan on, instantly gauge back to normal, Waited added like 1/4 bottle of coolant, drove up a hill, all fine again, then boom all the way to the H... then parked put up the hood, took out the cell phone, poor college student didnt pay his bill, ran 1/2 mile to a cingular store and used there cell phones, got a tow home (free) and now here I am.

For those who didnt care to read the story, Car is overheating, leaks out lots of coolant, has a funny wierd idle when starting up now, *researched think its air in the system) upper and lower radiator hoses fine, pretty new... Investigated, waited for it to over heat, blasted the heat, gauge stayed at normal and coolant was dripping pretty quickly out.. puddle on the ground after a few minutes, revving idle till it warms up... then normal... overheats, turn off the car and makes a loud hissing noise(air leaky noise lol)... squeeze lower hose, air sounds come from behind the thermostat area... I can see some crummy condition hosing underneath the intake manifold, passenger back side of the block is where its wet, but can not pin point the exact leak....hard to see with intake many covering it all
Headgasket? or a hose?
Anyone else experience this?
Anyway to pinpoint which hose?
Replacing all of them most likely, just those are very hard to get at?
*Which hoses are air and which are coolant, cant really tell* Diagram?

Thanks in advance

first you should jack up the car and look under the intake manifold if you are planning on fixing it yourself if not then just take it to a reputable mechanic. if you are planning on fixing it yourself then make sure your fan is turning on, if it is then turn on you car while in the air on JACK STANDS i don't care how bad azz your jack is USE STANDS. then get under the car and just wait look for the leak. Does it leave puddles under the car? if so what side and where in the front, back, driverside, or passenger. just use the PROCESS OF ELIMINATION. and you should be fine.
