bought some hids from hid planet and they are different colors idk
ordered a pair of hid bulbs from hid planet like 6 months ago and my bro just installed them this past Sunday. they are different colors. one light is good and the other looks like a halogen bulb.
could it be the way the ballast were installed. or just different lights. i also got the ballast from hid planet as well.

one (the right one) like like 4300k the other looks like 6000k, possibly just got a wrong bulb. which color temp did u want?
