My partner just bought the coolest '98 US Spec Type R with a JUNE Blue printed motor, Tiens, new Volks. The car will be used as a daily driver so the Mugen 4-1 Header is coming off and were putting an original 4-1 Type R header back on for smogging, but were short of the heat shield/s. Can anyone help?

I like how they talk so bad about FWD even though the civic and integra qualified 1st and 2nd. It all comes down to the driver not FWD or RWD. to the S2k guy talking crap, LOL at him for not tightening his lugs and DNF.

 

I actually remember seeing that on TV.

Funny how the S2K guy was running on and on about how FF has no place on the race track, and how bad the tires get because of the poor weight distribution and he flies off the track doing tornadoes after one of his wheels fly off 200 yards into the fence.

I remembered it on TV too. I was stoked when I found that. A classic for sure. ALL those guys are on this site too. We aren't helping KIWI out much but this has turned into an entertaining thread none the less.

I've been gone for a while... but not forgotten obviously.
We have been invited back to Race with NASA again after a couple of years in the Dog Box whch we are really looking forward too.
I ran our Si coupe for the first time in H2 a couple of weeks ago and picked up some valuable Championship points. Also ran it at the Tijuana GrandPrix and had a Ball! and picked up third place... I'm going back in October to kick some ***!

Yes were still building Race cars (5 in the Stable now)and we now have a big new shop in Orange. The old faithfull #66 JDM Type R will be making a big comeback in a few weeks - Now K-24 Powered with Gear-X Straight Cut C/R 6 spd and all the goodies! Most likely at Time Attack, and in Super Touring as the car is now way over developed for H1. Our other #65 DC2 Driven by Tom Lepper last season will be back in H1 - Not sure who will be driving it yet?

So yes, keep an eye out for some race reports in the future... Were coming back with a vengance...
