Default ATF-Z1 Vs. Competitors? Any cheap places for Z1?

I have seen other brands of ATF fluid for much cheaper, such as Castrol Import Cars and the Maxlife ATF, I beleive the maxlife is Honda approved.

Should I stick with Z1 or what?

Anyone know a cheap place (besides eBay) to find Z1?

theres way too many horror stories about people not using OEM fluid and the tranny messing up. Honda ATF is one of the best lubricants there is.

You guys are scaring me. Next flush I'll break down and use Z1. It's only a buck difference per quart. Better safe than sorry. Thanks

chk online ,,you might get it cheaper but even if it is $ 6 or so,, you replace it every 30k ( 2 yrs ) ?? ,, when you think about it ,, it is pretty cheap all you need is 3 qts

by the way it is $ 6.47 qt where i am at ..
but stick with Honda ATF-Z1

I need 6 quarts, to do 2 drain and refils..

$40 isnt really alot, I was just hoping to save a few bucks if possible. I called 3 dealers, none would offer me a deal if I bought a whole case, LAME!
