quick question would an s2k oil filter fit a 98 gsr.

no the s2k is the only honda that takes a different filter.

and i think the advantage has to do with oil pressure, im not too sure though.

Good grief. The amount of mis-information on this site is amazing!

The S2k takes a different filter but it's not the only one. You're forgetting the insight as well and older accords/civics pre.. *I THINK* '86 use a different filter.

^ what are you talking about. The S2K filter is different than Integra Filters, but it does fit. The advantage is higher Oil Pressure. A Hamp Filter will do that too.

the only reason I started using s2k filter is when Honda chnged the filter/size on the integra oem one

I was talking about how honda/acura OEM specifications does their filters. The guy mentioned that the only different filter is the s2k one... and it's not. I was putting out the CORRECT OEM spec filter information.
