Spark Plugs for GSR
I know this question comes up often, and I did a search I just wanted more of a specific answer for my car. It is a 95 GSR with intake and exhaust 50k miles. What do you suggest for a plug?

I would just stick to the same NGK platinums, only need to be replaced like every 60k miles. Or you can save a bit and get the regular copper NGK's, like the ones in non-gsr tegs, they will perform just as good and are far cheaper, but they should probably be replaced like every 15k miles or so, so in the end you will spend comparably the same amount of money. OUT.

I have not heard good things about Bosch Platinum and the +4's in Hondas.
I recommend the NGK copper plug BKR6E-11, which is the same as the OEM plug for GS-R's but w/ copper core instead of platinum. The plugs used in non-VTEC Integras are a slightly different length than those used in VTEC Integras, so you're not just using a non-VTEC Integra plug. A set of four BKR6E-11 plugs is about $8-$9. They only last 10k-15k miles, but it only takes about 5 minutes to change them and is still cheaper in the long run that OEM platinum NGK plugs (anywhere from $11-$15 for just ONE
).

. I had been using the NGK Platinums and I haven't noticed any adversed effects (ie. poor performance, poor gas mileage) by switching to the Bosch Platinum+4. I actually "felt" that the Platinum+4 plugs made the engine feel more reponsive, but this could be attributed to the NGKs having 60K+ miles on them. Overall, I really didn't notice any real difference between the NGK Platinums and the Bosch Platinums.Price wise the Bosch Platinum+4 plugs are ~$5-$6 per plug, the NGK Platinums are ~$12-$13 a plug and standard Bosch Platinums are ~$2 a plug.
Here is some very informative information that I came across when I was researching spark plugs.
