got my pistons and rods and im about to get everything put together..just wondering and im talking about being safe here for everyday driver how much hp can stock sleeves hold for lsvtec......and it will be tuned by a great tuner where i live...any help would be great thanks

 

If it's a daily driver I wouldn't really go above 450whp. Tons of guys have hit 500+ though and I have also tuned a few stock sleeves past 500.

 

its all in the tuning. 400s can be had all day long on a good tune, and 500s are attainable too.


i had mine break at around 350whp

 

It's all about the tune my brothers. I have my car boosted for over 3 years on stock sleeves ran 14lbs for about 2 years and now changed my set up and i'm up to 25lbs and still hold. C16 that is...

 

im goin ls vtec turbo too i say about 350 would be reasonable

 

Is this with forged internals that you're asking about? If so you can go up to 600HP without an issue..
