i do not have them, nor do i own a type r (i just want one). but i recently got a ride in an 02 M Coupe at Brainerd International Raceway (3 mile road course) from a BMCCA instructor that had them on his car. he really really loved them, i have also seen many other people at the track use them. and usually, whatever the track rats use you can usually swear by.

Good tires, but horribly overpriced considering you have the option of Falken Azenis in the same size.

If price didn't matter I think everyone would be running around on race tires 24/7.

my question was this model specific...

there are expensive tires that one can afford that you wouldn't buy...
just because its expensive doesn't mean it good...
but in this case seems like this tire is worth the $150 a pop???

Just get Falken Azenis, they are like 2/3 the price and a SWEET tire.

My stock tires were on the car only for a few months. After that it's been nothing but R compounds.

Extremely high performance dry weather tire. You could spend $150 on much worse.

Oh, but I failed to mention that I've been running on the same set of R compounds, the whole time.

j/k

Actually recently I've picked up a new set of wheels. So now I have two sets of tires to use:

sticky (V700) and stickier (AS303)

For the person who started this thread, the T/A KDs aren't a bad choice but I'd go with Azenis. But then again I only like the Azenis because they look so pretty.

I find that tires tend to slow me down; I run on just a set of VOLK TE-37 rims. I go through about 2 sets a week doing just daily driving.

Whose the baller now
