New build, no oil flow/pressure!!!
Hope you guys are ready for a good read! Please take the time and lend a hand! Thanks!
Alright so the story goes like this. I just rebuilt my motor (B18C1) with eagle rods and wiseco piston. I finally get it all together and since this is the first time I start the motor I decide im going to prime the oil feed line for the turbo since there is zero oil in it. Anyways I go to turn it over and absolutely no oil comes out of the feed line and I have 0psi reading on my oil pressure gauge. I thought maybe I didnt hook them up right so I remove the oil pressure switch from the block and try again and no oil is coming out of the block. Lastly I tried removing the oil filter and giving it another go but again no oil came out of there and the filter is bone dry.
So im completely stumped. I drop the pan hoping to god something might be stuck in my oil pickup at the worst. I just got done doing that and its perfectly clean. I can blow through it no problem, if thats a valid test. So I officially have no idea what can be cause zero oil flow through the motor? I know the pump was good before the rebuild because I drove it and it has only about 8,000 miles on it since I replaced it right before the build. I dont even know where to look next now? Any help would be appreciated!
