I am in the process of swaping an 98+spec Integra type r motor JDM into my 99 honda civic ex. And was wondering if there are any wires that i have to add to my civic. Please help me out I dont feel like blowing this motor or doing the swap half assed. Thank you

 

start by pluggin up the motor with your D series harness and see what you need to add or extend..if you need to extend try takin off the electrical tape and black covering and see if you can pull out alittle more wire instead of just cuttin it and extending it with more wire...after your done pluggin up everything you can, look around and see if you can any left over sensors that are not hooked up...when you get there and if you get stuck, ask more questions and some ppl will be happy to help you out

 

youll have to use the integra distributor plug...you just match up the colors and ignore the light blue tack wire...i just did this same swap a couple monts ago...pm me if you have any specific questions...ill be glad to help oh...any dispite what you might read the itr power steering pump will bolt right up to the 99 2000 civic...did for me and another guy i know who did this same swap
