I just bought it from a member from this site. Anyways, it feels a little better. Not a whole lot. I can't be too sure because I'm using Bosch spark plugs. It does save gas and such. I don't see the gas gauge going down when I'm doing some high revving runs.
I bought it for the fact, I kinda live in a dusty area, so I can always wash it off and don't have to spend money on replacement filters. Also the fact it's a K&N, which makes your engine breathe a little easier.
I would buy it for a cheaper price. Not retail.

Canadian? Let's see how much that would cost... $66 US dollars. Hmmmm wow! You are getting ripped off. In here I think it goes for $45 with tax. I bought one off a member in HT for $16. Nice guy too. On ebay, you can get one for $40 something US dollars. It's $60 off the K&N website.
I would just keep searching ebay. or check the wanted/sale thread in here.

I bought one for the idea of cleaning & reusing it. The '98 was an automatic tranny F23, so it's not a screamer anyway. I couldn't tell any improvement in power. So get it for convenience, or for saving money in the long run. But don't expect tons of power.
