Default Wet nitrous??

I got a 94 accord and i am trying to get a wet nitrous kit. this place im getting it from is telling me that you not supposed to tap the nozzle (fual and nitrous) into my cold air intake. They saying that the intake manifold got to come off and that it has to be tapped into.
Does anyone have a setup like this? I would appreciate the feedback as to how yours is setup

Thanks

I have mine tapped into the intake right in front of the throttle body. There has been a lot of inconclusive reports that the design of the Honda intake manifold doesn't distribute the mixture evenly, so keep that in mind. I've had no problems with my setup, and it producess a ton of power, so I can't complain either way.

they are trying to sell you a direct port kit...more money for the kit and more cost to install. a single wet fogger is not as good as direct port, but for small shots it is proven safe. If the shop is not willing to sell you a single fogger kit, go somewhere else.

I didn't think they made a DP kit for F motors... if I remember correctly, they just developed one for the H22 recently.

i believe the main reason for using a kit for the manifold is that a lot of cars that use a wet system that is tapped into the intake, the fuel will tend to puddle
in the manifold.and you know the rest.

the safest and best(more accurate) way to go would be the direct port

a direct port kit is universal...

you are speaking of the plate kit, which is very similar except it uses a plate that is placed in the intake manifold for the nitrous/fuel supply

a direct port is the same as a wet kit, except it has 4 nozzles instead of 1

I would also go with the direct port...much safer, even at low nitrous levels

The fuel doesn't "puddle" because of the temperature of the nitrous and the fact that it uses a larger jet. The two lines actually merge just below the intake, and become an aerosol spray in the IM. I have a wet setup, but it wasn't a wet kit. Mike Gerber customized a setup for me using various N.O.S. products.
