82mm B16 ??
how much more torque would u gain(roughly) on a 82mm b16 and how safe is it at that bore? I know the sleeves are to weak to handle any farther than that without resleeving it

To change the stroke you need rods and a crank.

a crank that has an 84.5mm stroke and rods for that stroke on ur b16. 84.5mm stroke will put u at 1.7x litres and if u sleeve it and bore it out to 84.5mm ull be near 1.9L of displacement.

yea i wouldnt do 82mm. imo the cylinder wall is a lil to thin if ur using an 82mm piston. brian crower sells a full kit for the b16 which you might want to look into. his products are really good. http://www.briancrower.com/
depending on what your comp ratio is ull probably pick up about 20tq which is a good jump. there whole kit consists of rods, crank, pistons to what ever comp ratio u want, acl rod bearings, acl main bearings and rod bolts. not bad for the price. if u call them up directly they usually cut some good deals a buddy of mine got the 95mm b-series kit with an 84.5mm piston shipped for 2200 which isnt too bad but its alot cheaper than the dealers. dealers were asking 2600. or u can just pick up an ls block or gsr block and throw ur b16 pistons in it and make more power than the stroked b16
$2200 for 1.75liter b16a
OR
ls block - $100
b16/itr pistons - 250
arp rod bolts - 50
lsvtec kit - 250
machine work - 300
bearings + seals - 300
= 1.8 liters for $1250
