Default Driver side door panel coming off

So I noticed the other day that the inner door panel on my driver side door was slightly detached. When I pulled on the door handle to close the door, there was a good bit more play than there normally is. I looked were the plastic meets the metal of the door, and I noticed that there was a little bit of a gap. Inside the gap, it looked like a clip had popped out or something. I pushed the panel into the door and heard the clip pop back into place. After this, the panel seemed to be back to normal. When I was getting out of my car at lunch today, the panel was loose again. I looked in the gap, and it was the same clip. I have had my Si since October of last year and this has never happened. Has anyone else experienced this? Any possible solutions to this problem that don't involve me going to the dealership? I know I have a warranty that should cover this, but if there is an easy fix I can do myself, why waste my time at the dealership? Any help would be appreciated.

just take it to the dealership man, they should
take care of that since it's still covered by the
warranty.

haven't had any issues with mine yet, thanks for
the heads up though.

Both of my door panels were replaced because they were warped... took about an hour but they had to be ordered. Covered under warrenty. The dealer said they weren't installed right at the factory. I have had my si since september of last year.

I know, I made an appointment at the dealership and will drop it off at lunch today. I just wanted to know if there was a easy diy fix that would save me some time.

Just to let everyone know in case someone else has this problem....

I did end up dropping my Si off at lunch today to have them look at the door panel. My service rep just called me and let me know that they tried to replace the clips first, but she did not feel comfortable with how that fix turned out. She said that they are ordering another door panel and will replace the whole thing when it comes in.

So if anyone else experiences this problem (hopefully not), definitely take it into the dealership.
