Well, something is wrong with my hatch and I have the sinking feeling it's major.
I have a pretty mild lsvtec setup in my 91 hatch it's obd1. It's got just a few miles on it and as of 2 weeks ago tested comp 210 on all 4.
The other day I was trying to take it out to get some gas, waiting till it got to opt temp before even leaving my parking space. By the time I was near the gas station my temp gauge was up to 3/4s.... I put gas in and let my fan blow while it filled.
Gas station only being a mile away I thought best to drive it home and figure this out.
Temp gauge hung right under the red but full to the top.
I let the car sit and fired it up to see if the temp gauge would fly up after checking my coolant rad etc.
Now today car struggles to crank at all and won't turn over. I don't want to rule out any cooling issues but I did look and everything seems fine.
Any ideas what this could be? I know I'm kinda parniod about heat and am thinking something bad happened, because it's my luck.

Search you n00b.
I think it's time for a compression test again homie. Coolant look funny at all? Water pump leaking? Cooling system bled?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I am going to give it another comp test when I am done work and can grab my stuff.
No leaks, coolant was bled last month. Coolant looks ok as I said was new.
Tried starting it again and checked for spark. It's got spark. The motor tried to turn over harder and sader till it clicked and just buzzed.
I should know but I'm quite frazzled about it.

Yeah, have you checked that coolant is flowing through the radiator yet?

Check your head gasket. This will cause your car to overheat if it's cracked or damaged. Also it may be hard for you to see, but check to see if your coolant has bubbles in it. I have clear PVC braided hoses, so I can see where the coolant travels and it's easier for me to just look at the hose and see if there's bubbles in the coolant. If there is bubbles, bleed the coolant, and then check your headgasket. Replace if necessary, and then refill the coolant and let it run and check it again.

When my HG went bad, it just kind of.... broke. I was sitting at a stop light, the idle dropped 200 RPMs and smoke started coming out of the tailpipe. Although I never had any overheating problems.
Did you do a compression check again yet?
