After having the car for two weeks, mostly with it not being driven, I finally got my 2000 PY out last night. I had my camera and tripod and I felt like driving, and I snapped a few shots. I forgot my remote for my camera so I couldn't get enough light in the shots for an even exposure, but I also was lacking any light besides the moon's...
I need to lower the front end just a tad, as you may notice. More pictures to come as I take them.
These are dark, that is for sure. I'll have some much better ones soon.

Heheh, it takes some skill to recognize that as Gate's Pass. Heheh. It's much better to shoot at at sunset- it casts some great colors on the mountains. And it's an awesome road to cruise on. I sometimes take it all the way out to Kinney and take that out to Ajo, there's some really fun twisties along the entire way.
I was up there maybe every other night for months and never saw another person driving through there having fun. Speeds aren't too high but the corners are tight so its fun and mostly safe if you're not a jackass. The locals seem to like Mt Lemon but there is way too much traffic and tons of cops.

It's a spot in Tucson between the (small) mountains to the west of town. The road going between the mountains is the road we're talking about. The road is about 15 miles long and has lots of curves.

They're Volk GT-Ns.
As for the photos, yeah, they are quite dark. But hey, I had to work with what I had...

That's an old plate that expired in 2004, from the wrong state i might add. Just on there because I didn't want that ugly blank space.
