Default whats a good "bolt on" turbo kit

the thought has crossed my mind about turbo charging my 96 gs-r. where to start? any decent "bolt on" kits available that will allow a/c? any reading book or site you recommend in learning about turbos?

Check the sponsors forum, Peakboost, Full-Race, and AFI should have something to suit you........

I used to have a rev-hard kit and loved it. I went 10.9 on it and it was a/c comparable (i didn't have a/c though)

If you take some time and look around the Sponsor's Classifieds, you should be able to find a good AC compatible setup. Like a few others have said, check into the Peakboost setups because they seem to be a good kit for the money.

I used to run a SPoolin log manifold which was AC, PS and full radiator compatible. It was a good setup, but i didnt get the 3" dp....

also depends if you plan to build in the future. id go with a afi street kit with like a 28rs if you plan on keeping it low boost. should be good for close to 300 as long as you have a good tuner to use.

turbonetics makes good kits... and their new kits are a lil more but come with the right electronics and all the right things work without engine lights... and in most cases are pretty well said 'bolt on'
