gsr or itr throttle cable

i have a eg and im putting in a jdm b18cR. am i supposed to use a type r throttle cable or a gsr cable?

if your refering to the b18c5 type r engine you want to use the type r throttle cable if you have a b18c1 use the gsr cable

Just use the stock civic throttle cable.

no. i have the jdm b18c from a type R. or is the usdm c5 the same as the j spec R? will the cable from the d15 work that is already on the car? i heard you cant use them.

You cant use the stock throtttle cable due to issues with the position of the throttle cable bracket. You should use the type r.
