i found some of these on groupbuycenter and am wondering if they are worth it. would i notice a lot better braking if i got a set of them.

 

Nope, unless you're gonna go from 140 to 80 to hit a turn. A good set of pads is what you want. Otherwise the rotors are just there to look pretty

 

No, drilled rotors certainly aren't worth the extra money. They easily stress crack. Sloted rotors, perhaps, depending on what you are using them for. On the street or for autox, no. For the track, yes there are benefits.

so is it better if i just go with better pads? i really want better brakes!!! what are some brands that make pads that you would recommend.

 

Get dual piston calipers, better pads, and steel braided brake lines, that will tighten up your braking alot more and feel alot firmer.

 

are slotted and cross drilled rotors machinable?
