94 civic 3 door dont know moter code

i know the car has a 1.5l is it a d15? im new so dont laugh

There is a engine ID stamp on the front of the engine where the engine and transmission meet.

Yes, the D series 1.5 is a D15, the 1.6 is a D16. Get it? Most of the engines are pretty simple like that.
