uninstall NOS help
Recently bought a 2002 s with 9000 miles. The previous owner had what i think is a dry NOS set up installed. The bottle is empty, and there is a y-fitting with two SS braided hoses connected to the stock intake tube (small tear at the fitting, which I temporarily fixed with elect tape) and one going into the fuel rail. I don't know much about NOS and want to remove the NOS system. I found what looks to be the NOS solenoid, and there is a switch under the steering column. I'm wondering if I should remove the system myself, or take it to a shop to get it back to stock. That's the only other mod other than cross drilled rotors. I pulled the spark plugs, and they're clean. The previous owner said he never sprayed it. I just want to sell the system along with the 18" chrome rims it came with, so I can start with a clean stock s2k. What do you guys think I should do?
I've got a new intake hose on order and a fuel rail. I need to find out what else I might have to replace. fuel line maybe? Clueless about what goes into installing NOS.
I don't mean to get off subject, but why would they spend the money if they weren't going to use it?
I'm sure you could get rim of 18s and be able to afford a clean set of rims and get rid of the system and get the use of your controls back without too much work.

the owner bought it to just cruise. He's an older gentleman and has a friend that owns a "performance/ricer" shop. He got talked into it after he bought his "bling" rims. The car is 5 years old with less than 10000 miles on it, clean carfax, clean title, and not a scratch or ding. i'll try to post some pictures. I'm not much of a mechanic obviously. But, It looks pretty straight forward.
That's just how I got mine. Old men rule!! The guy I bought mine off of got AP2 wheels for it and the hardtop within the first week of ownership, and put 10k on the car in six years. Good luck with the uninstall.
