Default H22A price quote please

Need inputs about a motor and a H22A please. Maybe put this in my DA.

Here's what I remember about the mods:

Head:

Skunk2 Stage2 Camshafts(don't remember the specific kind)
Unorthodox Cam Pulley
AEM Adjustable Cam Gears
AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
OEM 70mm Ported Intake Manifold
70mm Mustang throttle body
310cc fuel injectors
Nodolgy(sp) Plug Wire
Modified Megn Racing Header (2.5inch outlet)

Block:
Sleeved block
Darton Sleeves
Eagle Forged Rod
Wiseco Forged Piston- 12:1 Comp
ARP Head Studs

Ecu
P28 Chipped Ecu

Tranny
M2F4 or M2A4 tranny
Unknown Flywheel (not stock)
Unknown Clutch (not stock)

I know I'm forgetting a lot of things, the block is not on the car where the head is, the block is newly rebuilt and will sleep in new oil his winter along with the head.

Now, is it worth 5000$ CAN???????????????

Take into consideration that some stuff may be added.

Thanks a lot!

how do we give you a QUOTE? we can give u an estimate, but we're not the ones selling u the motor. thats approx 3500-4000$ US right? if so, ur not gonna find one from a speedshop or w/e complete changeover w/ warranty, the cheapest i've seen from a UNREPUTABLE seller for motor/tranny/ECU is 2000$, ur head mods NEW add up to over 1k so ur looking at over 3k american probably. the stuff on the block will push you over your limit im pretty sure.

basically, do your own homework. especially since you're in canada where there's limited amount of shops, itll probably cost more or u have to ship to US back and forth.

for my swap it cost 3600 hundred for the whole thing with all new gaskets, timing belt, water pump, oil filter, tranny and mounts and axels.... ( my mechanic gets wholesale ) Then 1,000 for install. So 4600 For the complete swap out the door. Thats in US dollars.

I would pay nowhere near full price. Again the consumer doesn't know how you treated the engine, if there were problems etc, if you maintained it, or beat the hell out of it. For 5000 can, you can probaly build something just as good. You have to discount it to attract buyers otherwise the smart people would rather do the work themselves so they know what's going on with the motor. I personally would never buy a motor someone else built but then again there is always some dumb rich parent backed ricer out there that would pay this much you just have to find him and be patient.

we really dont care.. i think i speak for most of us when we say H motors belong in prelude chassiseseses. and h2b... i would rather see a flying pig than a anorexic H22 in a DA. honestly its not that interesting or impressive, maybe if u were to turn a prelude SH into SH-AWD.

Good luck w/ whatever you plan to do. That snobby attitude won't earn any of our respect. and as far as the 5000$CDN budget.. would it really be that JAWESOME? we do have a 11.01sec qtr mile flying pig.

excuse my O/T forgot to answer it.

I don't believe you will be able to do your project w/ that budget. maybe the longblock w/ basic bolt ons.

That included everything except install.... That means the Hasport mounts and axels, all new gaskets, etc etc etc

oh i thought u were referring to changeover into a prelude chassis. 3600 -600 for hasport mounts, w/ longblock/tranny/ECU/axels isnt that bad. but the cost of that stuff is still well over what the OP was aiming for.
