Just got my hatch done 11.018@132.73 need advice about how to make car faster
I just got done building my eg hatch well i have been building it for a year and i just got everything together. I wanted some imput by you super fast guys on what i should do next. I want to run some low 10s So here is my setup
golden eagle gsr block 84.5mm bore
wisco pistons eagle rods aebs main studs & head studs
b16 head p&p gsr cams aebs intake mani gsr throttle body rc 1000cc injectors stock fp regulater web valve train stainless steel valves.
turbo is a percision t4.68exh t76 4in down pipe 38mm tial ram horn mani made by ground zero.
walbro fuel pump tuned with uberdata i ran the 11.0 on 22psi af were in the low 11s 11.0 to 11.4 we havent messed with the timming at all i think this setup should be making more power at this boost level maby im wrong this is definatly the highest horse power car i have ever tuned oh and im running c16 to be safe Im ganna dyno today or tomorrow so i will have some numbers for you guys

And this was the first time i ran the car with this setup i had a cheap ebay super 70 turbo and ran 11.2@123 same boost and i was getting good traction. With the new turbo its spinning all the way into third im running 24.5/7/13 mt slicks full race traction bars solid mounts type r tranny 2 step is set at 6700 any advise would help i have been buliding this car myself learning from all you big dogs on ht thanks for your guys help ya and anything i should change in my setup i no the intake mani isnt the best choice i got it for cheap lol Thanks I dont no how to post pics so if you want to see some pics go to http://www.myspace.com/frankhedlund

You only made one trip to the track. Make about 10 and get the most out of that setup before adding parts or changing major things.
I have been to the track 20 times this year i have a fat stack of time slips this was the first time with new turbo. I was just lookingfor advise and i no on a better track it will run faster the 11.0 was on a old airport track. Ya just looking at what people think. And im not planning on changing any major things
from what has been priven so far id get rid of the gsr cams and get either type r cams or even skunk2 stg 1 cams people are making a good amount of power over gsr cams
Skunk 2 cams. Your spinning through 3rd? What kind of boost controller are you using, how much boost are you launching at?
Luanching at 22psi shitty single stage boost controler im about to by a avcr dont people make over 600whp with gsr cams?? hmm Oh i just got back from the dyno i made 454whp @15psi 335tq 9000rpm then tried 22psi and it was too rich started poping af were 10.7 and at the track yesterday they were low 11s it made 474 at 6400 before it started poping but ya i think the load was fucked up i need to get on a mustange dyno.

Ya i finally got a boost controler last night i got the avcr now i have to figure out how to set everything up im ganna get on the dyno again this week to tune i havent tuned on the dyno yet just at the track so hopfully i can get every thing perfect for boti on friday, its coming down to the line on this one. And for the big turbo i got a really good deal its really not to laggy and im very happy with it. I do plan on getting bigger slicks but **** im ******* broke. So im just ganna use these ones up
