Default Differene between Base RSX and Type-S motor wise!

Just picked up a base RSX motor for dirt cheap. Guys have any clue what the difference is between base and type s.

I know of 2 things. Camshafts and Pistons. the type s has forged high compression pistons. any other idea?

Also its an auto and wanting to convert to manual. can i just slapped on a 6spd K tranny?

thanks much.

No you can't just slap on a 6spd tranny... And use the search button.
