There is no set rpm. Go out and practice and find out for yourself.

Nobody cares! Read the replies you have got so far. The exact same car at the exact same track will launch at a different RPM nearly every trip to the track. The driver is what has to tell the car what RPM to launch at and you won't find that posting on Honda-Tech.

Like was said before, and hundereds of times before that.. go to the track and learn to drive it!

On regular street tires try 3,800.

I've used various street (non DR) tires at a couple tracks here in GA and I've always had my launch control set at 4K. I've noticed that 4K on street tires was only good when they prepped the track really good. Besides that though on normal conditions I'd rather it be lower, perhaps 3-3500 or something. This is on a LS/VTEC CRX (175 WHP) BTW.

Try to get a chipped P28 with the rev limit remove ,wire a honda CBR 1000RR tachometer so you can see a clear 10200 RPM, put your tire pressure to 42psi or a little higher, then dump the clutch and you will be all set
