I guess you could "get away" but why turn a minor traffic issue into a life and death event, possibly causeing some one else harm? I just pull over and make as little impression on the cop as possible so he wont remember me if I want to fight it later...

Depends on how little you love life. Could you run? Sure, bikes have more than enough power\handling to outrun a cop. BUT can you outrun radios and helicopters? I dont think it's worth it. If you take the risk by speeding, be a man and take the ticket.

I passed a speed trap once with a state cop waiting there at about a 120mph.
I instantly gunned it about to a 138+mph and found the nearest exit ramp.
The cop showed his lights but then I guess he backed off. He probably figured that by the time he merged with traffic, I'd be long gone...
I don't do more than 115mph now (extreme for me).
