hey guys i bought a 92 honda civic shell that had a h22 in it but now i am installing a cx sohc vtec motor in the car. all i need to know is how i wire the car so that i can use the sohc motor he did change the pin outs. also how hard is it to remove the wiring harness from the ecu to the engine bay.

 

Most wiring help will be found in a Manual, even Haynes or, like I have, Chilton.

 

Both being obd1 the wiring harness are already similar. The h22 I think has two extra sensors that the cx doesn't.

do you really even need to change the wiring harness at all to run an h22? we used a 92 civics on my buddies h22 and she ran fine.

 

Depending on the harness of the 5th gen civic they can be very close.
