Prelude getting repainted, help me pick a red
ok so i got hit by a drunk driver and insurance is paying for most of the paint and repairs and im going to pay the difference to get the whole car repainted. However, i kinda want to go with a different shade of red. The first people who painted the car were supposed to paint it back to san marino red, but it came out darker.
the damage:

i'd like to know actual paint names/codes or even pictures of the red you are referring to. Brighter or darker reds can be posted.
Thanks.

i'm not wanting the stock san marino.
and yes, drunk drivers suck. Especially the ones that dont have enough collision coverage to fix the cars they damaged.

..i hate seeing posts where people start naming colors.... ....and to begin with... the guy who opened the thread mentioned he wanted a lighter shade red than what he has right now.... so i guess... few of the cars posted above would have the ton of color he is looking for....
Anyway... at the body shop where you will take your car.... they will have a book of color samples.... bunch of reds (solids and metallics)... just pick one color and call it.....

I wish it were flawless.
It's OEM paint, and it's far from flawless.
It has it's fair share of stone chips, and I did put the bumper over a bump-stop to dodge a car accident (you can see it on the front passenger side bottom). And, here's the best part, I hadn't washed the car in probably 4 weeks, and did an 800 mile road trip two days prior to that photo.
So, it's really dirty, daily driven paint.
Oh, would it also matter if I do not have a garage space for it?
