looks stock enough to me. i would never notice it wasnt a stock lip if it was painted.

You do know that JDMSH!T makes an exact replica of the OEM Type-R lip, for a fraction of the price, right? I'd just do that.

Does their stuff fit well?

IIRC,

Some people have had some fitment problems with their other lips, but I think it was with other style replica lips.

the "type r style" lip looks like garbage, unique or not, its just the generic pos that every kid has on their 92-00 civic becaus theyre what $70 brand new from any "speed" shop
