I tried to go order paint yesterday and it was either i got the single stage omni paint or the three stage one? Will there be a huge difference in color hue with the single stage one??

Depending on what paint system/ paint brand your using there could be a few variations/ tints of the same Milano red color. The best way to color match is to have a paint chip/ spray out card of the same variation to compare before the paint is even mixed. Since it is a solid color, there is no reason to spray it as a three stage. The paint system I use the most offers only base/clear and the standard variation is a great match. IMO Honda fucked up that color w/ the three stage and didn't apply enough top coat clear to UV protect it correctly.

If you're talking about Nighthawk Black Pearl, no it's not single stage...at least not that I've seen. I've painted it several times and it was always a 2 stage.

the single stage electron blue pearl did not match at all. It was a darker blue and looks nothing like the base coat clear coat version. maybe since milano red doesn't have any metallics or pearl, it'll match no matter what.

I dont think 99-00 is nighthawk black pearl... i had a black 99 civic and it definately wasnt a pearl. It was straight black.

Oh but its definately a 2 stage, base then clear.
